Listen to the bombastic second album from the powerful Post-Rock/Experimental band Camellia Rose Tree. The combo led by Hevisley Ferreira (guitar/electronics) celebrates ten years of existence in December 2023 and therefore decided to release the phenomenal album Permafrost SleepDream which consists of three badass tracks that were recorded by them in July 2023. The musicians Christian " Pretzel Frito" Marcos (bass/electronics) and Jonas Araújo (drums/percussion) are also part of this portentous project. The Power Trio has strong psychedelia influences where the presence of electronic sounds is noted in all the songs on the album. A glorious blow to the ear that you will understand well by listening and delighting in each furious and nervous groove. So start listening to this release once and for all and also honor the three musicians who are shaking up the underground scene in Poços de Caldas (MG - Brazil) and in a few days they will be celebrating their birthday.

I love a lot of 'weird' music but I get easily annoyed by things that loop, drone, squelch or meander aimlessly. This record squelches and loops and drones and meanders, but the pacing, the art, the craft of it is unlike I've ever heard. This noise is more musical than most band's greatest hits record. Especially if you redefine 'music' as a playful sonic nightmare world. Also, the visual art is mesmerizing!
