No, he is not a new artist who has just joined our catalog, but rather the glorious Scott Lawlor who is using this pseudonym to promote his newest release in the series of film reinterpretations, A Christmas Story (Reinterpreted), which arrives on our shelves today. For those who haven't seen the film yet, Scott Farkus is the name of one of the characters in the plot that Scott Lawlor loves so much and that's why he decided to make this masterpiece with seventeen tracks in the Dark Ambient genre of which he is a master. Don't miss this beautiful item in your collection if you've been enjoying the reinterpretations of films that Scott Lawlor has been showing us recently. a Christmas story is one of my favorite movies for the season.
It has special meaning to me because, when I was in college, my dad and I would watch it together every Christmas when I came home for winter break and it became a tradition for us.
I love everything about this movie from the comical narration of Jean Shepherd to the ways all the actors and actresses play their respective characters so well.
If this isn't a movie you've ever seen, you're missing out and I highly recommend that you watch it and improve your holidays immediately.
I wish I could say "run down to your nearest block buster store and get the video cassette" but, sadly, those days are gone.
A side note, Scott Farkus is the artist name on this album, a concept I thought would be fun for this series, to use a villain from whatever movie I'm interpreting as the artist for its respective album.
