from Cut-Up: A Music Compilation in Honor of William S. Burroughs by Various Artists

Colematics Cut-Ups 1 and 2
Making cut-ups from released and unreleased material and other materials at hand we have gone all
the way back to the Cut and Paste days when the Eagleclaw Ghost of Fulci and the Broken Monkey
Arm, Virgil Sheets, L.U.M.A and O.M.A would all bring in their parts to compete to see which
would be used in the ‘Golden Udders’ Master. It came naturally to study and use the cut-up
techniques of William Burroughs and Brion Gysin in a audio collage type of way. We were arrogant
and xenophobic ,and cut-up ourselves. Innocent but Guilty did it too. We thank them for that.
The sources are all Colematics apart from a Vocal sample from Lucio Fulci the Gates of Hell and
the Voice from the Heaven’s Gate tape.
So, once again this is a Golden Udders Production by Enghis Von Sharklor and Iblis Coleman for
Colematics INF.
We would also like to thank our Muse, Miss Anna Kovana.
